Cheaper chicken eggs

KUALA LUMPUR: Chicken eggs will cost less in Peninsular Malaysia from today, the Federation of Livestock Farmers’ Associations of Malaysia said.

The price of Grade AA eggs would be 24.5 sen each, down from the previous 26.5 sen, it said in a statement.

For Grade A eggs, the price is 24 sen each (down from 26 sen), Grade B 23 sen (previously 25 sen), Grade C 22 sen (previously 24 sen), Grade D 21 sen (prevoiusly 23 sen) and Grade E 20 sen (down from 22 sen).

It said the new prices were based on market supply and demand.
